Laurie was many things in her short 58 years on this earth. The role she was most proud to take on was that of Mom to Eric and Michael. It would also be one of the most impactful roles in her life. When Laurie and Carl discovered that both of their sons were battling with addiction (aka Substance Use Disorder) it would change their lives in ways they never could have imagined.

In September of each year, Laurie's friends and family participate in the Center For Donation and Transplant NY & VT Donor Legacy Walk in Saratoga Springs. This is an opportunity to celebrate Laurie and honor her legacy and the legacy of all of the Donor Heroes. We hope you'll consider joining us and the other family's that walk to remember so we never forget any of them.
